JAKARTA- Penyanyi pop remaja asal Kanada, Justin Bieber, sengaja memilih Indonesia sebagai salah satu tempat konsernya, karena Indonesia adalah lumbung penggemar Bieber terbesar se-Asia.

Hal itu dikatakan Neelam Vaswani, CEO Marygops Studio, promotor yang bertanggung jawab mendatangkan pelantun Baby itu ke Indonesia.

“Justin tahu dari Internet kalau Indonesia ternyata banyak sekali penggemarnya. Bahkan terbesar di Asia. So, why not come to Indonesia,” kata Neelam saat ditemui di Plaza EX, Jakarta Pusat, Sabtu (22/1/2011).

Butuh berbulan-bulan dirinya meyakinkan manajemen Justin Bieber, agar mau datang ke Indonesia.

“Pokoknya kita sampai berbulan-bulan mas, meyakinkan mereka. Pokoknya kita benar-benar work hard,” lanjut Neelam.

Sayangnya Neelam belum mau memberitahu lebih banyak soal konsep panggung konser nanti,”Nanti dua atau tiga minggu lagi kita akan adakan jumpa persnya kok,” janjinya.

Konser Justin Bieber rencananya akan dihelat di Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, pada 23 April mendatang.
